The Research On Spatial Layout Pattern And Countermeasure Of New Town On Compact City Theory

In the context of rapid urbanization, the city’s existing extensive development has caused a waste of resources and become a resistance level of urban construction. The core content of European origin theory of the "compact city" is a moderately compact city, and the improvement of urban transport, land use mix of functions and sustainable development of cities. Therefore, the application of the compact city theory is an important method to achieve compact development of urban intensification, and the establishment of a sustainable development of cities has an important significance.New Town construction is the main content of the integrated development of urban and rural spatial structure of the new century, but the New Town space layout mode is also the inevitable problems to be faced in urban development. Of course, New Town’s planning model is not static. First of all, the authors try to start the relevant aspects of basic research from the New Town, and New Town content and compact urban theoretical framework of analysis to determine the compact layout of the core content and objectives, and from the practice at home and abroad to get experience in the construction of New Town. Secondly, analysis of the compact city theory perspective, summarize and analyze the main problems of our country in the process of construction of New Town, and New Town space layout planning principles based on compact city theory, as well as three modes based on the New Town space layout of the compact city theory, from macro to microscopic point of view to analyze and summarize the New Town planning Countermeasures of the compact layout of urban space.Finally, to Harbin Songbei New District, for example to analyze its advantages and existing problems in the compact city perspective on the comparison of the three basic modes obtained based on the integrated model of compact city theory, and proposed in the land development, function structure, mode of transportation, open space strategies and recommendations to build a compact layout model of New Town space and achieve the goal of the New Town space compact layout.
