The Research About Landscape Planning And Characteristics Of The Small Towns In Hangzhou City

The government of Zhejiang province made a scientific analysis about the necessity of constructing the center town in "certain opinions about accelerating central town cultivation project", and pointed out that the small town’s the main node balancing the development between urban and country. The landscape construction is an important part of the development of small towns, and it is important to small towns for living environment and economic development and cultural protection.Hangzhou city is the capital of Zhejiang province. There have advantageous geographical environment, good economic and rich cultural history. The planning and development of the small towns is tendering well. I choose the towns that have good geographical situation, good economic, rich historical and cultural, good landscape conditions as study cases. I summarized the positive experience of the landscape construction about the small towns in Hangzhou city to direct the landscape construction for small towns.Through the study of the three small towns in Hangzhou city, I found four features about Hangzhou small-town landscape as follows:(1)In general, the landscape of the small town has a good foundation, and established a preliminary system of landscape architecture, including the public park, ancillary green space, production green, protective greenbelt and other green space, and so on.. But at the moment, the landscape is mainly marked up by road greening, residential area, subsidiary green and small park. Only those that can meet the low level demand of the residents, but are limited to improve the town’s ecological environment and the town quality.(2) In the process of landscape planning and construction, we need emphasize the culture protection and utilization, and actively explore how to combine the culture with the landscape in town building, in order to create the landscape that full of local characteristics.(3) Emphasize the adaptability between the landscape planning and urban geographical environment; prominent the terrain factors in the landscape, combining with the natural landscape to construct the town landscape system.(4) Outstanding the local industry characteristics, and combining with the landscape and local characteristics in order to make the landscape help the industry develop.
