Rotary Drill Rig is High-tech products in the field of modern mechanical.It is large-scaleconstruction machinery which is used to bore a hole when building a basic project.This articlehas described the main components and characteristics of rotary drilling rig and its automaticcontrol system.CGR250rotary drilling rig was studied.The system of mechanicaelectro-hydra-ulic automatic control which is constituted by the system of drilling mast auto-down control,the system of the upper part of the car’s automatic rotary positioning, the system of automaticstop and the system of drilling depth detection has been analyzed and studied.In this paper, through the tune of several mast vertical institutions and different pros andcons of stable shape of the whole machine of several institutions and the effect of verticalcontrol was elaborated. The large triangular supporting structure was selected Finally;On thisbasis, the factors that affect the control performance was identified according to the basicworking principle of verticality control system: valve opening, flow coefficient and pressuredifference before and after the valve port.The method of improved the control performancehas been analyzed by load-sensing technology, the pressure compensation technology andelectro-hydraulic proportional control technology;The system of automatic control wassimulated by MATLAB and optimized.The institutions of rotary positioning system and slewing ring which is key part has beendescribed and the functions of automatic rotary positioning control system and parameterswould be clear.Both of the program that is automatic rotary positioning the electrical controlhave been analyzed and compared since the characteristics of load sensing hydraulic systemwas combined with.When the absolute encoder on the rotating angle for accurate detectionhas been selected,the overall system performance was enhanced greatly according to the useof electro-hydraulic technology.Through the main hoist overload and dangerous working conditions of drill touchdownwas analyzed, dangerous working conditions stop system was designed.The tension of mainhoist’s rope was monitor by hardware which is pin sensor.If the danger which is judged by thePLC is happened, a signal will be sended in order to make the main hoist stop decentralizationto avoid danger.Several programs of rotary drilling rig‘s drilling depth detection has been compared inthe accepts of Measurement accuracy, error and installation.So the calculating formula of themeasured values and the drilling depth was calculated. One program would be selected todesign the system of drill deep.
