In order to meet therequirements of the urban river’s flood control and drainage, and further improve the standard of river’sflood control, it adopts the measure that straighter river’s linear channel and hardened revetment and so on.It aggravates destruction of the river. With the development of society, people gradually recognize thenegative effects of destruction the river. At the same time, people also realized the importance of ecologicalrestoration the river, start to train river, and strive to give river the best form and function. So that itenhance the image of the city.Fuzhou Baima River is a long history urban river. Since the ancient time, it was seen as a flood controlriver. With the development, It appear the same problems like other city rivers, just like a river is pollutedand diverted to be narrow, the form of revetment becomes single. The available two sides land is shortenand Etc. The phenomenon is obvious. The thesis is based on investigation of Baima River. It studiesrelevant factors that affecting the ecology of Baima River, to explore the basic way that ecologicalreconstruction of Baima River and urban river. The results of this paper’ research is mainly followingrespects:(1)The field survey, From multi-angle analysis of the status quo of the Baima River，category descriptionthe situation from current problems. Such as the pollution of water quality; flood control and simpleprotection of watercourse; the contradiction among the cross-river land nature, watercourse status andwaterfront space and so on. Summarization the ecological situation and as the foundation for thereconstruction.(2)On the basis of full understanding of the status of Baima River, unifies the related literature reference thesuccessful experience at home and abroad, From those aspects of water quality, revetment and two sides,reconstructing the whole Baima River ecologically.
