Continuous and stable feeding of biomass powder in the biomass thermal cracking liquefaction is one of the most key issues. Biomass powder feeding device as the important part of biomass cracking reactor, uniformity and controllable of the feeding, directly influence the stability of the system and the accuracy of experimental results, repeatability, thereby affecting the biomass cracking reaction process.Biological qualitative heat cracking need in high temperature seal environment, pneumatic conveying and vibration conveyor due to feed rate and process of the limit is not suitable for application in biomass thermal cracking unit. So in biomass thermal pyrolysis technology, powder feeding is used mostly biomass mechanical spiral promote way, but because of the biomass powder itself property characteristics, traditional spiral feeder existing material box materials in a bypass phenomenon, influence feeding the continuity and stability. In view of the above questions, this study design a kind of new rotating blades biomass powder feeder, the different kinds of biomass powder, particle diameter, pressure, rotational speed, water content, scraper number of factors rotating blades type feeder feeding characteristics, to gain parameters on the feeder feeding the influence law of the performance. Mainly includes the following several aspects of the research content:First the main opposite material chemical and physical properties on the test. On this basis, a new type of rotating blade design biomass powder feeder test bench, and the main structure were introduced. With peanut shell powder and corn straw powder as test materials, to use the new biomass powder feeder rotating blades of the above two kinds of biomass the feeding experimental research. Examine the biomass powder size (20to40,60,80-40-100mesh and not screening), different materials barrel pressure (1000Pa,1500Pa, atmospheric pressure), scraper number (1,2,3) and material in the cylinder material height (150mm-300mm) for feeding rate influence. In the same study, based on the design of the rotating blades will be new biomass powder feeder used in biomass thermal cracking on liquefying device, and biomass thermal cracking liquefaction verifying test. The results of the study show that: (1) The powder feeding rate of biomass is larger as the particle size smaller. The same material feeding rate with the speed of the feeder increase the more increase trend obvious.(2) Pressure produced obvious influence to the feeding rate. thel greater the pressure, the bigger the biomass powder feeding rate(3) Different material feeding height on the feed rate affect different.When feeder speed different, feed height on the feed rate has the different effect. Overall, in the same feed height, feeding rate increase with the increase of speed, particle size decreases.(4) Feeding rate increases with scraper number increase. Two of the blade feeding rate significantly greater than a scraper, three scraper to feed the influence of the rate is not obvious.(5) New rotating blades type powder feeder in biomass new V type biomass thermal cracking down tube liquefied reactor operation experiment shows that the feeding device operation is stable, feeding continuous and controllable.
