Due to the discontinuous working state of timing system, when vehicle drive inhigh speed drive chain will produce intense vibration, the vibration accelerate the loss ofgear, bearing and the chain,leading to mechanical’s life become short. In order toimprove the working state of the chain, we must manufacture and choose a reliable autotensioner. The performance testing of tensioner is very significant for manufacturing theparts of auto.This topic bases on the trend of the development of auto tensioner in china andforeign country. On a condition of investigating tensioner quality testing equipment’sstatus and performance characteristics in our China, especially for the structure of thehydraulic motor with ratchet tensioner, it uses four different sets of test scheme on thedynamic, static performance testing, developing a high-precision automatic qualityinspection system, improving the manual detection efficiency and safety problems ofthe production of small and medium sized parts of auto of enterprises. The maincontexts of this research are in the follow:1.PWM pneumatic pressure control principle, respectively on the valve, cylinderstraight-line and force balance system, proposed a mathematical model and thesimulation on Matlab platform;2.Based on the analysis of the principle of grating sensor with high accuracyposition detection, I introduce the processing of position signal in details;3.According to the four different performance indexes, I finish the analysis of thecorresponding testing scheme and testing process, and I also begin to choose the maincomponent;4.We realized the design of the PLC main control circuit, the servo motor drivecircuit, the frequency control circuit and the detecting circuit;5.Completed the writing, which based on PC monitoring software, and PLC ladderdiagram programming;6. Completed hardware and software debugging of the system, and successfullypassed the enterprise acceptance.Finally, after a large number of domestic auto tensioner test, theoretically analyzedthe reliability and accuracy of test data.
