Geogrid has been widely applied to the reinforced soil in the practice of engineering.However, the theory of geogrid of reinforced soil lags practice a lot. The triaxial geogrid withexcellent mechanical properties is a kind of new type. Now, its research on reinforcedperformance is still under being explored. Therefore, the result of study, which is based onquantization, offers interface friction properties between triaxial geogrid with soil, clay andsoil-rock mixture through large-scale direct shear tests.Although the triaxial geogrid has been applied to engineering practice, the strengths andweaknesses of it are not perfect compared with the unidirectional geogrid and the bidirectionalgeogrid. Therefore, this article analyses reinforced performance of the triaxial geogrid with soil,clay and soil-rock mixture. comparison of the reinforced performance on unidirectional geogrid,bidirectional geogrid and triaxial geogrid is given. Moreover, it elaborates that geogrid reinforcedapplied on soil, clay and soil-rock mixture is better. Through analyzing the test data of geogrid ofreinforced embankment, Poisson model, exponential model, hyperbolic model and gray theory areused to obtain simpler and higher precisely prediction model, which can forecast the settlementafter construction.The main conclusions obtained from above mentioned research are as follows.⑴The shear stress of interface between triaxial geogrid and soil-rock mixture stuffing fromunidirectional geogrid, bidirectional geogrid and triaxial geogrid increases with theenlargement of normal stress.⑵The reinforced performance of unidirectional geogrid of soil is significantly greater than thatof clay or soil-rock mixture which has small amount of stone.⑶The reinforced performance of bidirectional geogrid of clay is significantly greater than thatof soil or soil-rock mixture which has small amount of stone.⑷The reinforced performance of triaxial geogrid of clay, soil and soil-rock mixture issignificantly greater than that of unidirectional geogrid and bidirectional geogrid under thesame normal stress.⑸The cohesive force of interface between unidirectional geogrid and bidirectional geogrid withsoil-rock mixture firstly increases, then follows when stone content increases.⑹The cohesive force of interface between triaxial geogrid and soil-rock mixture increases, andthen it decreases. ⑺Predictive value of Poisson model approaches practical measured value in all forecast modelsof reinforced embankment in mountain area. Prediction effect of exponential forecast model,hyperbolic forecast model and gray theory model GM(1,1) is not so perfect. Poisson forecastmodel is a simple and precisely prediction model, which is suitable for practice project.
