Particle IMPact Drilling technology is a very advanced mobile technologywhich can be applied to a conventional drilling equipment. This technologyhas a mining speed, high energy efficiency and the small degree of damage.This article introduces the relevant knowledge of Particle IMPact Drillingtechnology, focuses on the screw conveyor which is important to ParticleInjection System. It is the first research in china, the physical nature and theinfluence of the correlation coefficient of the transmission capacity are need tobe determined by experiments because of the steel particles. Firstly fix the sizeof the inlet in order to stop locking particles at inlet; Steel particle is no longerstrand in the internal clearance by improving the structure of screw head andend. Study the transmission performance by changing the spiral groove depth,the clearance size, the surface quality of screw and tube wall and the size ofparticle. Derive the throughput formula based on test result and conventionaldelivering formula. Screw conveyor is working at pressure25MPa, sostimulating the working conditions is needed to determine the screw materialbecause the working condition can not be got recently. Using Solidworks tomodel and ANSYS to simulate, the screw material is meeting by the result. The application of EDEM is to simulate the transport process and prove theconclusions previous.
