Along with the rapid economic development, the demand for engineeringmachinery is increasing in our country, and at the same time they also improve therequirements of the engineering machinery performance. In order to prolong thelifetime of engineering machinery and get it more rapid in use process, engineeringmachinery running-in should be taken seriously. However, the engineering machineryruning-in theory and experience are very few, and this article tries to make the loadspectrum of engineering machinery running-in through the example experiment ofJCCY-2type diesel carry-scrapers.The mainly objects of runing-in is the vehicle transmission system, from theengine, to the torque converter, the gearbox, and finally to the drive wheels.Running-in generally falls into the field test and bench test. Because of the growingrequirements of vehicle performance and the limit of location, the bench test are moreand more used in engineering machinery now. Being on the test, the vehicles areimported by the resistance, which is given by the dynamometer to simulate the realroad, achieving the effect of running-in.The resistance simulation generally achieved by two methods: one is themathematical model, and the other is the statistics application to the road-dragcollection, processing, extraction and programming. This paper has carried out theanalysis and comparison of the two methods, and choose the second method as theway to simulating the resistance of the practical road from the program to the wheelsof loading.Run-in test usually adopts optimized load spectrum by increasing resistancetorque to achieve element reinforcement. In order to make the results comparable, thereinforce factor of optimized spectrum compared to the original one must bedetermined. In this paper, using the Ansys software to analyze it, and fitting curve byMatlab, we can know the stress of gear under in any resistance. Using the S-N curve,that gets the relationship between stress and life, the preparation for the optimizationof the load spectrum is made. There is no ready-made theory about the optimization ofthe load spectrum, the theory of the fatigue life is adopted, and there are two beingcommonly used: linear fatigue accumulating damage theory and the residual strengththeory. Through the analyzing and comparing of the two methods by reinforce factorcalculation, their advantages and disadvantages are explained, which can achieve the role of shorten time and reduce the cost. Finally, the theoretical research andMatlab/Simulink simulation for the control strategy of dynamometer has been carried,and the results shows great agreement with the expected results.
