| The porous asphalt mixture has been accepted by people because of their excellent performance on drainage and absorption of the noise, but the conflict between its superior performance and durability needs to be solved with the high viscosity asphalt since the ordinary modified asphalt cannot meet the requirements. Nano materials are introduced in the field of traffic engineering because of its peculiar microeffect. In this paper, the orthogonal design is adopted to study the influence on dynamic viscosity of the asphalt at60℃of that added with MWCNTs, SBS, stabilizing agent or the combination. The experimental results show that the dynamic viscosity of asphalt at60℃added with MWCNTs or SBS has an increase of36%and12times, respectively, compared with the matrix asphalt. Furthermore, the combination of MWCNTs and SBS with the same proportion yields the increase of dynamic viscosity by54times and better by adding an appropriate amount of stabilizing agent. Based on the observations of MWCNTs/SBS modified asphalt using the scanning electron microscope (SEM), we draw the conclusion that well-dispersed MWCNTs play a role in network filling, increasing the internal friction thus dynamic viscosity. |
