With the increasing development of aerospace engineering, the flexible structure of the plate girder and the elastic material of carbon fiber materials are have been widely used. But the flexible structure and flexible materials will have a greater vibration when they were in the condition of outside disturbance, and the vibration would lead to aircraft structural damage. So the study of the structural vibration control problems has important significance both in terms of theoretical research level and practical application level.In this paper, we use piezoelectric fiber composites for actuator, use the PID algorithm for control strategy, make research of active vibration control of flexible cantilever beam in the terms of both theoretical and practical.On the basis of reference to domestic and international data make a useful attempt. The main work are as follow:First, from the piezoelectric equations of the piezoelectric materials, Summarizes the piezoelectric effect and the piezo-hysterectric characteristics. piezoelectric effect is the source of piezo-materials have been widely studied, and the basis of piezo-materials as both sensors and actuators worked in the fields of structure control.Second, introduction the method commonly used in active vibration control, and based the intelligent PID control theory, used the integral separate PID control method for control strategy, build a digital PID controller and determine the parameters.Third, Based on LabVIEW software platform, use the data acquisition card and lab VIEW software to design the control procedures, which has the functions such as data acquisition, data processing and control signal output.At last, summarize the analysis and design as described aboved, build the piezo-cantilever smart system, use the integral separate PID control system to contorl the vibration of cantilever under the outside disturbance. Experimental results show that, this system can control effectively the vibration of cantilever under the outside disturbance.
