The bus-type passenger transportation mode with characteristics of high-speed, high-density and small-marshaling is an important way to improve the railway passenger transport market possession-share. It’s also the direction of developing high-speed railway (HSR) transportation. In background of mass more than200km/h HSR’s successive constructing and dispatching, operating the bus-type train can increase the passenger transport capacity to some degree, and meet the passenger transport requirement of safety, comfort, convenience, rapidness and economy. At last, operating the bus-type train is well for organizing planned and selective passenger transportation.By taking HSR bus-type operation for research background, from the macro to the micro, four related issues are given to research in deep.1. The thesis elaborates the planning and development of HSR bus-type operation, analyses the concept of bus-type transportation and characteristics of bus-type passenger flow, transport organization and station. On the premise of above analyses, the thesis does further research on operation conditions of bus-type train and determine that station infrastructure and management are the two most important conditions to ensure the implementation of HSR bus-type operation.2. The arrival-departure track in the condition of HSR bus-type operation is analyzed, and the planning method that helps to use the arrival-departures and make the maximization of equipment capacity is designed, which will accelerate the development of bus-type transportation and the reasonable application of station equipment, meanwhile provide the relative decision-making with scientific basis. By using the application mechanism of station equipment and mathematical simulation, the thesis analyses the scale configuration of arrival-departure track. And then, the thesis is focused on modifying the traditional method of computing the arrival-departure track scale, improving the scale optimization algorithm and formulating the application optimization model. By using the random simulation method, the thesis simulates the bus-type train schedule, discusses the influence of departure interval, station dwell time on arrival-departure track scale.In the end, check-calculation is been used to find out the best algorithm for configurating arrival-departure track scale in the condition of HSR bus-type operation.3. The selection of passenger-passing waiting mode is taking on an important role in the station design of bus-type passenger transportation. Passenger-passing waiting mode is not only the factor that affects rapidness and convenience of passenger flow, but also related with train operation and railway station organization. Based on a new mode as station building waiting is first and station platform waiting is second, the thesis expatriates on the factors affecting scale configuration of the bus-type station platform and station waiting space, as a base for the research of optimizing plan of station platform design and waiting space calculation.4. Aiming at the characteristic of passenger-passing waiting mode at the station building, the thesis formulates two models of ticketing system and checking system based on queuing theory. Therefore the thesis concludes the reasonable range of equipment scales in different passenger volume and service levels.
