With the development of electrical technology, placement machine should work withhigher accuracy and speed. As the key technology of placement machine, the motioncontrol technology is also developing toward to higher accuracy and speed. So it issignificative to make in-depth study to motion control technology of placement machine.In this paper, a series of exploration to motion control technology has been done and theformer BLDC with the low performance is replaced with an advanced PMSM vectorcontrol system.Firstly, the paper focuses on some theoretical basis in the area of motor control, suchas the structure and principle of PMSM, the PMSM mathematical model and so on andelaborates PMSM vector control principle and the voltage space vector pulse widthmodulation technique. Then the paper studies the transfer function of PMSM vectorcontrol system, designs the PI controller in current loop and speed loop control, and studiesthe simulation result of PMSM vector control system based on Simulink.Secondly, the paper designs hardware and software of of PMSM vector controlsystem. The hardware design includes the overall circuit structure, the DSP2812corecircuit, the power circuit, current and voltage sampling circuit, encoder signal interfacecircuit. The software design is based on CCS3.3programming environment of TICompany and includes the overall software structure and several subroutine modules.Finally, a series of experiments is designed to verify PMSM vector control system,and the experimental results shows that the system has good performance both in dynamicand steady state characteristics in terms of speed control, which built the solid foundationfor the further study of the system.
