The water supply system is the vitals of the city. It’s the indispensable material foundation for guaranteeing the life quality and developing production and construction, it has became the important factor of Chineses urban sustainable development and construction, and related to social stability and economic development directly. Our country has a large amount of water resource, but the per capita available water is of water-poor country, with the development of social economy, the improvement of urbanization, the deterioration of the contradiction between supply and demand of water and water making cost rise ceaselessly, shorting of water seems particularly outstanding.In order to ensure that the water supply reliability and security, reduce the leakage rate of the pipe network and control the leakage effectively have became big problems for Chineses water supply enterprises.There are many reasons can cause leakage, and they are interaction, this paper on the basic of substantial data and Chinese and foreign literature, then makes a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the reasons for pipeline leakage from the static factors and dynamic factors, and proposes countermeasures can be taken for these factors, in order to reduce the leakage rate and save water resources, at the same time, provide technical advice to water supply enterprises to control leakage,improve the economic efficiency of the enterprises.First of all, on the basic of the analysis of the status of water resources and water supply network leakage of our country,it is concluded that it has feasibility and necessity to control pipe leakage. Then makes a analysis and synthesis of water balance at home and abroad as well as indicators, based on this, in view of the current situation of domestic and foreign pipe leakage, summarizes and analyzes the water supply network leakage type. And then makes a summary of the current domestic and international leakage detection technology, leak detection instruments and leakage control theory of the research progress.Second, this thesis analyses the static factors affecting the water supply pipe network from the basic attribute of the pipe, construction and installation and external environment,pipeline corrosion, adjust structures and human factors five aspects. Obtained that the type of pipe diameter,size, pipe interface form, the change of the temperature, electrochemical corrosion and microbial corrosion, brutal construction and illegal water etc all played a direct influence to the water pipe leakage.Then, this paper analyses three dynamic factors that influence the leakage form bearing capacity of pipe network, water pressure and water hammer.According to the soil water dynamics, it is known that the network leakage flow can be divided into a free flow and Submerged flow.Use of the knowledge of the material mechanics, the mechanics model and force equilibrium analysis are used for the pipe, elbow, the three links and stone, and calculating seven equations, such as the leaks flow balance equation, pressure drop equation and holes out flow equation etc..Afterwards, make a research of the relationship between the leakage and the water pressure,and concludes that the pressure control of the leakage control network is the most main measure. Then analyzes the gas resistance water hammer and stop the pump water hammer to pipe leakage influence.Finally,through the technical analysis of pipe network, the leakage factors in water supply management experience and combined with actual situation,then proposed some reference, feasibility and operability measures of the leakage control, and has great practical significance.The phenomenon that water supply pipe leakage rate is on the high side, not only results in the waste water resources, but also is easy to cause secondary pollution, water supply affect the economic efficiency of enterprises and long-term development.So, water supply network leakage control research, reduce the pipe leakage, not only can save precious water resources and reduce the cost of water supply, but also can improve the economic benefits and social benefits of water supply enterprise, they have important practical significance.
