Shift schedule is core technology of the vehicle automatic transmission, itsdevelopment is directly related to vehicle performance, and is one of the vehicle’simportant research contents. The road gradient and vehicle load on shift schedule is thedifficulty of its research.This thesis has draw on research at home and abroad on the basis of comparativeanalysis of the research results of the current shift schedule, mainly to fulfill the impactanalysis of the vehicle load and road load on shift schedule. Reserved power has beenproposed to establish the vehicle load and road gradient correction of shift schedulecontrol model. With the setting of control strategy and the real vehicle test results, thedesign goals of this thesis have been completed.The main research contents and results are as follows:1. The theory of reserved power is proposed. Through the study of vehiclereserved power and shift points features, this thesis first proposes a shift schedulecorrection method based on the reserved power, to study the effects of road gradientand vehicle on automatic mechanical transmission shift schedule. Reserved power is anew idea in the research of shift schedule, it solves the problem of previous shiftschedule correction method relies on a large number of calibration tests, but onlyapplicable to the specific limitations of the models, and also provides a theoreticalbasis for the correction of the shift schedule.2. The establishment of the real-time control correction model. On the basis of thetheoretical research and control strategy, a real-time control model of Simulink is built,and put forward to corresponding engineering solutions, with the help of laboratoryequipment; the program is loaded into the vehicle ECU processor.3. Real vehicle test to establish a database. From lots of real vehicle tests, theCAN device to collect relevant experimental data, different classification based on thetest road sections and road conditions, and its data processing and classification ofextraction, to the establishment of the MATLAB test database. 4. The algorithm validation and real vehicle verification. In algorithm verificationparts, based on the measured data, simulation experiments have been made to verifythe algorithm validation the reserved power shift schedule correction method; In theparts of the real vehicle verification, vehicle automatic transmission controlexperiments have been made on the particular road, from analysising of the shiftcharacteristics, engine characteristics and gear characteristics of the original model andthe modified model, this thesis has verified the real-time and effective of the new shiftschedule model.In summary, this thesis established a new method for the research of shiftschedule. This method based on the theory of reserved power, road gradient andvehicle load on the shift schedule, considering the acceleration driver operating habitsand intentions and other factors designed to control the mode and apply the results oflaboratory equipment like cars, verify the correctness of this design method bysimulation and real vehicle test.
