The development of modern social and economic affected by the urban publictraffic systems, improving the operating efficiency of the urban public traffic systemswill improve the speed and quality of social and economic development. The efficienturban public traffic system depends on the scientific and effective managementsystem, which is based on the scientific formulation of transit planning andimplementation of bus scheduling. To realized science planning and scheduling, itneeds to master the data which are timely, accurate, comprehensive of transit trip, andin-depth understand the characteristics of residents bus travel.With the promotion of bus intelligent card, it is more than60%that theproportion of cardholder in many cities. Bus intelligent card not only makes passengertravel convenience, but also stores large amounts of data in it, and these data arecomprehensive, updated in a timely manner. On the basis of the analysis of publictransportation IC card data, digging out of the cardholders passenger travel time andspace information, so as to achieve the fullest bus passenger information, and graspthe static bus data and dynamic bus data, which will be the foundation of scientificformulation of public transport planning and bus scheduling. The bus intelligent carddata analysis focused on passenger travel time and space information, including thetime and the site of getting on the bus, the time and the site of getting off the bus. Onthe basis of analysis of the data characteristics of the transit network and busintelligent card, propose the theory of time span and theory of public traffic, elaboratethe ideas of data analysis.The main results are as follows:(1)The theory of time span is proposed through analyzing the characteristics ofpublic transit data, based on it, build the site span matrix and interval span matrix forthe analysis of bus intelligent card data. Based on analysis of the site data by the sitespan matrix and interval span matrix, determine the site where to get on the bus.(2)The theory of public traffic connection is proposed through analyzing thecharacteristics of public transit data, based on it, site spacing matrix and siteconstraint matrix is built for the analysis of bus intelligent card data. When bus travel connection exists, determine the site where to get off the bus based on site spacingmatrix analysis of the site data; When bus travel connection does not exist, determinethe site where passengers to get off the bus based on site constraint matrix analysis ofthe site data.(3)The concept of credit card time difference threshold is proposed, which isused to determine the passengers who are adjacent to swipe card whether getting offthe bus on the same site; and the method for calculating the time difference ofswipping card is proposed which is used to determine the card time differencethreshold.(4)The cross-reference method for possibly getting off the bus site is propsed fordeterminning may-getting off site of bus travel each time.(5)The concept of site spacing threshold is propsed for determinning busconnection whether it exists between two time travels in succession of the samepassenger.
