With the rapid development of new energy power generation technology in China, the photovoltaic power generation has been widely applied because it is reliable, stable, convenient maintenance, and other advantages. In order to monitor the operation state of photovoltaic power generation system, the photovoltaic intelligent lightning protection confluence box installed on the output of PV panels, voltage, current,temperature signals of the PV array and fault information are real-time uploaded to the monitoring center through the cable or wireless way.This paper studied the power line communication technology, used to realize communication between the confluence box and concentrator. The principle is modulating the signals onto the power line using confluence box, transmit through the power line, and read out at the other end of the line by concentrator, restore the information and data. The performance of the power line communication and the characteristics of the communication channel directly influence the reliability of communication.This paper set the power line communication technology as the research object, discussed the application at the DC side of photovoltaic power generation system. This paper mainly studied the structure and characteristics of the channel, analyzed high-frequency harmonics and noise interference. Simulation models of the DCSK Modulation principle and its application in photovoltaic power generation system were completed. By contrast, chose the appropriate PLC chip, designed the filter circuit and the coupling circuit according to its working principle. In order to optimize the PLC technology program, a large number of experimental tests were completed. In addition, effective solution is found to solve the problems in engineering application. Experiments showed that the power line communication technology can be reliably used in photovoltaic power generation system.
