| With the current rapid development of urban and rural constructions, conflictsarising by the urban land- use and traffic problems are increasingly prominent. Toevaluate the negative impact on traffic environment and the traffic congestion whenthe projects are operated, the traffic impact must be assessed for large-scaleconstruction projects. The corresponding measures can be formulated throughanalysis and evaluation of influence of additional traffic demand on the surroundingtransportation system when projects enter service, thus the impact can be reducedwithin the permissible range. This paper discusses the theory and application of trafficimpact evaluation of urban construction projects.This study mainly takes the Standard For Traffic Impact Assessment ofConstruction Project as norm basis. With in-depth analysis of technique flow andprimary context of the traffic impact evaluation, the traffic effect evaluation indexsystem based on traffic density has been established to assess the serviceability ofroads. Put forward the survey method of traffic density which is based on remotesensing image of high spatial resolution, and analyzed its advantages anddevelopment prospects compared with traditional survey methods. In view of thepowerful spatial analysis capabilities of GIS, study is established by GIS which isused in the traffic impact assessment; analyze the principle of building a database ofbasic information and the method of the database structure design, which supplies thefoundation to serve the traffic impact evaluation better.In this instance of the evaluation of GIS-based traffic impact about Hunanappliance logistics center in the town of Changsha Huang Xing Logistics Park, thecharacteristics of the logistics park construction in suburban areas has been studied,as well as the surrounding traffic conditions, and the impact of logistics park on thesurrounding, make the evaluation conclusion to the construction project and developtransport organization methods and improving measures.Analyze the assessment system of the traffic impact in this stage, the GISfeatures is used to the traffic impact assessment, which is more practical to meet tochoice the key elements such as the start threshold, the area of assessment in thetraffic impact assessment, and it is more scientific and rationalize to the traffic impactassessment of Huang Xing Logistics Park. By the research of GIS-based traffic impact assessment, explore the positive roleof GIS, RS and other new technology in the traffic impact assessment, supplies a basisfor further scientific development of the traffic impact assessment, and suppliesuseful support for urban construction and development. |
