With the development of economic and technology, products upgrade faster and faster,and the competition among enterprises has become to the product of input-output speed of thecontest without limiting to the quality and scale. In order to obtain a higher market share,enterprises must shorten the production cycle and product diverse products under the premiseof high quality. Mixed model assembly production system has become a mainstreamproduction in enterprises. Because it can not only achieve the efficiency and quality oflarge-scale production, but also meet market demand for products produced by small-batcheven single production of a variety of products.Firstly, by researching the literature of mixed model assembly line balancing andsequence planning, the dissertation determined the program of using of GA-TS hybridalgorithm for sequence planning mixed model assembly line, and built a mathematical modelaimed to minimize workstation overload and idle time.Secondly, Hoffmann method was used to design and balance mixed model assembly lineof IE laboratory. The results of balance optimization were evaluated, which can prove that thisline is balanced well, to lay the foundation for sequence planning optimization of mixedmodel assembly line.Again, according to the GA-TS algorithm for solving mixed sequence planning process,programs were compiled according to the algorithm in MATLAB platform, which can be runrepeatedly by entering the production-related data to get the best algorithm for each parametervalue and the corresponding running optimal sequence.Finally, the feasibility of GA-TS hybrid algorithm and MATLAB code was verifiedthrough the solution of instances. If the market demand for cars has changed, change therelevant data and the corresponding optimal sequence can be obtained simply by MATLABcode.Based on the design and balance of IE laboratory mixed model assembly line, thisdissertation aims to apply a certain optimization algorithm for sequence planning of mixedmodel assembly line, and find a algorithm with broad applicability to provide an effectivesequence planning optimization method for the related mixed model assembly line ofenterprises, which has some theoretical and practical significance.
