Ship Lines Design Research And Application Of Visualization Methods

This article main purpose bases on the visualization technology is the premise, studies the ships line design method to realize the ships line visualization system. The system is to develop a VB program to call its data of the database to store the ship, automatically draw the chart application. The system is based on Visual Basic6.0as development platform, using cubic B-spline curve drawing method to achieve some of the ships in the VB interface as well as the AutoCAD interface, ship lines graph visualization and in accordance with the type of chart to draw design and performance calculations. So the diagram type line drawn from the traditional manually enter data into the draw the chart automatically by a computer to read data, and greatly increase the work efficiency.The program is the cubic B-spline curve, but need to know the value of the ship, for this problem in this article uses the ACCESS database to create a ship design value of the database, the database used to store the information (including type value table, inclusive outline of the table, the bow and buttock lines), to facilitate the procedures to visualize the process, when called.Procedures for the preparation and improvement of basic data in the database calls and automatically ship chart visualization capabilities in the VB interface and CAD interface. In addition, through the system can be calculated from the linear value of ship bow and buttock lines, ship inclusive outline linear value, and the data generated is stored in the database in tabular form, the entire profile design and ultimately the import of the data, calculation, output, select, and automatically draw the images and other functions.
