With the quickly development of the economic and the improved living standard of our country, more and more buildings containing air-condition systems.The energy consumption for the heating and cooling of buildings is rising fast in recent years, enrgy saving and emission reduction becomes the certain trend of sustainable development of our contry. Making full use of underground heat storage to lower the indoor cooling load is of great significance to protect the environment and low the energy consumption of building.Basing on the domestic and external research status about the technology of the earth-air heat exchanger (EAHE) system, this paper give the influencing factors analysis of air cooling in EAHE system and engineering design method of EAHE system. It will be more energy-efficient to ait-conditioning system and better for envirinment protection for the power source of the EAHE system is come from our nature. So, it has great value in the future.Firstly, different thermo-physical parameters of different soil listed for it great influence of the cooling results and a mathematic model of the ground were developed on the basic of the analysis of those parameters. Then we can get the formula of soil temperature when the ground temperature varise harmonically. The verying characteistics of the ground temperature provides a prerequisite of the research on the underground tunnel cooling capacity.Secondly, we analyze the basic principle of air cooling in the underground tunnel. The basal principles of the heat transmitting process after the outdoor air flow into the EAHE system also be analysised. Based on the heating transmitting analysis we can get the compute formula air at the tunnel ending. We can get initial law of the air cooling in the ground tunnel based on the software simulating results. Then a in-depth study on the fluent factors on the cooling results is given in this paper, the factors includes the length of the tunnel, the diameter of the tunnel, the buried depth of the tunnel, the ground temperature and so on. The applicability is also discussed in this paper to make a progress for promting the application of the ground tunnel system in rural residential building. The truth of the model will be experiment studied.Finally, there will be an engineering desing for an actual EAHE system. It is consist of the cooling effects and initial cost. There are two options for people to choose .The reseach of this paper is a guide for the optimized design and the efficient operation of the EAHE system.
