Transmission gearbox is one of the important parts of High-speed train bogie, the performance of which have a great impact on the performance of the bogie and the safety of the train. So, the performance tests need to be done to ensure the performance of the transmission gearbox will meet the standards. At present, the performance evaluation for transmission gearbox High-speed train is evaluated based on the universal gearbox performance testing standards or related agreements. The method of evaluation is single, and the result of evaluation can’t reflect the comprehensive performance of transmission gearbox either. Combined with the test programs and test trials of the High-speed train gearbox on the test bench, the performance evaluation system for the transmission gearbox in High-speed train is established by researching on the problem of multi-index comprehensive evaluation, using evaluation decision theory, which have great significance in the establishment of performance evaluation standard and the system optimization design. The main work of this paper are as follows:(1) The High-speed train gear transmission system is designed and developed, including the test bench, test programs and test trials, which provides a basis for the research on the comprehensive evaluation for the transmission gearbox in High-speed train.(2) The main indexes which have affect on the transmission gearbox in High-speed train is analyzed. Combined with the principle of selecting evaluation index and screening method, the index system of performance evaluation for the transmission gearbox in High-speed train is established.(3) The current applied evaluation standards of transmission gearbox in High-speed train is studied, and the relative evaluation standard of the evaluation indexes is established based on statistics.(4) The method of weight coefficient is studied. Using the method of combined with Delphi method and Entropy method, the weight coefficient of evaluation indexes is determined.(5) The comprehensive evaluation method is studied, and the weighted average, principal component analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established. In order to make the evaluation result with a reference standard, the standard vector is introduced into the process of comprehensive evaluation, which can judge the comprehensive performance accurately. At the same time the performance of High-speed train gearbox is evaluated with three evaluation model based on the experimental data. The result indicates that the evaluation result is objective and valuable according with the reality.(6) A performance comprehensive evaluation system for the transmission gearbox in High-speed train is developed with LabVIEW software platform based on above theoretical work, which makes the evaluation process of High-speed train gear transmission system realized by software, helps people evaluate, and has good practicability.
