| In recent years,with the comprehensive development of China’s large-scale infrastructure construction as well as the ever-accelerating pace of construction machinery equipment, the requirements for mechanical construction equipment are increasing, and the demand for the automation level of construction machinery are also getting higher and higher. However, compared with foreign advanced level, there is still a certain gap in the design theory and manufacturing of China’s machinery industry, especially large mechanical equipment used for water conservancy and hydropower and underground engineering construction, therefore, it is particularly important to design and research on full face rock tunnel boring machine as the tunnel construction equipment.According to TBM construction field observation and the existing rock breaking experiment in laboratory, the rock fragmentation mechanism induced by disc cutter was analysed. The force curve of disc cutter was also obtained. In the following, the rock failure criterion were summarized, for a given project example using the cutter force prediction model to analyze the stress, and compared with the force curve obtained from rock chipping process induced by cutters in laboratory, verified the applicability of prediction formula.Based on the Drucker-Prager model, using ABAQUS finite element software built rock breaking induced by single and double cutters in separately, the rock fragmentation process were simulated, and the simulation results are consistent with the formation and abscission process of debris in the actual TBM cutting process. Through analysing the stress distribution of the rock and the force curve of cutter, use the ratio method to determine the best penetration with the different cutting depth induced by single cutter and the optimal cutter space in different spacing induced by double cutters. The effects of the simultaneous cutting method and the sequentially cutting method were also compared. The results showed that the effect of rock breaking with the simultaneous cutting method induced by two cutters is better than the effect with sequential cutting method. |
