This thesis mainly makes overloaded railway transportation which is internatio-nally wide applicating and developing as main line.Comprehensive considered of the China’s resources,needs,transport capacity and other of the actual situation,and based on the development direction of big axle load and low self-respect of rail wagon, focusing on overloaded vehicle technology of car body, to carry on the research of selection the100ton coal gondola carboy structure.First of all, designing the research objects which is selected.When the main design task is planed, we should clear idea of making plans about the research method, Combined with our country’s existing models,it should work out structure schemes for the research object:scheme1is for coal gondola wagon structure with a flat base;scheme2is for coal gondola wagon structure with double tub; scheme3is for coal gondola wagon structure with single tub. Then mainly focusing on the overall size, material and structure about the three scheme to do design work. It respectively used3-d software UG to make models about the three scheme.In the design work we contreled the quality in details. as far as possible in guaranteeing the axle load,and try the best to reduce weight.Secondly, testing and verifing rationality of the design which is about the research objects.In the validation studies about the rationality of the object, we checked the interference of the model to make sure the rationality of its size and relationship about the relative position between parts; Using finite element analysis software ANSYS to check strength and stiffness of the three car body, then verify the rationality of the structure design; On the basis of certain improvement about the foregoing model,we did a modal analysis to get the natural frequencies of the design plans,output the first six order modes which is low order and verify the rationality of stiffness matching and dynamic performance of the body.Thirdly, Processing the data about the design and verify results, compared the data and selecting the best project.Calculating the tub volume, total volume, total quality, the height of the focus from the rail and related economic performance parameters of the three design projects according to the design datas.Extracted and classified the data which can respond to the structure performance of the three projets combined with the validation data. According to the above calculation and extraction data to do comparison analysis and selection research,then make sure that theoretical basis is right and the data can be checked.Finally,researching on the stay poles lefted by the first step to make sure which position is the best project. In the study this thesis mainly draws up four subject to research the necessity of setting on stay poles, the role of inclined poles, the influence of the stay poles in number,arrangement and the height on the car body.Through the study, this thesis holds that100ton coal gondola carbody structure with double tub could make the longitudinal force to transfer reasonably,and has the lower center of gravity, bigger capacity, simple manufacturing process and other adva-ntages.It’s an ideal model for overloaded coal gondola wagon.
