With the development of our national economy and the people's demand of urban landscape, in recent years some cities have already appeared a new type of cable-stayed bridge, space-twisting back-stay hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge. This type of cable-stayed bridge can meet the requirement of public use as conventional cable-stayed bridges, on this basis it's more beautiful, more suitable for the city landmark buildings, so is being taken seriously gradually,and is being applied in many large projects. However, at home and abroad there are not so much research and analysis on the performance of this new type of cable layout, more study and comparison on the structure performance of the two cable layout needs to be done.In this paper, on the basis of reading many relevant papers, after understanding the stress performance and stability of cable-stayed bridge abundantly, make a analysis and comparison on the structural performance under different way of back-stay's cable layout.Firstly, this paper introduces this new type of cable-stayed bridge—space-twisting back-stay hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge, and also introduce some actual examples of this bridge in our country. Secondly, introduce the Static theory analysis method and dynamic analysis method, and also present the first kind of stability and the second kind of stability. Finally, use the universal finite element program ANS YS and bridges special analysis software MIDAS to analysis and compare the influence of Static characteristics, dynamic characteristics and stability of cable-stayed bridge under space-twisting back-stay's cable layout and sector(including elastic modulus modifier,final cable force,movement,girder's bending moment,girder's stress).Through the comparative analysis, some conclusion that the different structure performance under the two types is got.
