At present, due to the impact of many problems such as constant change in climate around world, the worsening in ecological environment and the constant fossil resources consumption of the earth, significant and profound changes in the energy structure are happening. Especially, along with construction and development of the intelligent power grid as well as policy changes of electricity price, the traditional electric meter already can not adapt to the development of intelligent power grid and the requirements of the customers. In this context, the measuring system of intelligent meter has been researched and developed in this subject. The intelligent measuring system of electric meter is an integrated network system with monitoring, storage, analysis and guiding electricity. It will completely change the current situation that power flow and information flow are just single direction of flow and will provide a platform and technical support for two-way interaction communication between consumers and the grid.Firstly, the overall design of the intelligent measurement system of electric meter was given. The function to realize and the corresponding design solutions of software and hardware have been expounded. Taking ATMEGA64microcontroller as core, system realized the real-time measurement and display of electric power and two-way transferring between the data and instructions by online communications of upper and lower computer.Secondly, according to the needs of practical application, the specific needs of measurements were analyzed. In the meantime, the user programs were compiled in order to achieve the basic functions of the intelligent measurement.Thirdly, in the paper, computer management system of intelligent meter has been designed using PowerBuilder software with SQL database. The system can receive measurement data of lower computer (electric meter) in real time and analyze historical data of storage in accordance with relevant policies and regulations and then can give the corresponding electricity guidance, sent to the CPU of the lower computer in real-time machine, display on the LCD on the screen visually.Finally, after the system was put into practice to try, its effectiveness and advancement was verified. As constantly update of the users’electric concept, it is sure that this system will be widely accepted by public and will also provide users with real-time electricity information. So, it not only saves the user electricity, but also makes full advantage of the energy and will bring great environmental benefits. |
