In recent years, accompanied by the conventional energy sources make it difficult to meet the fast economic development of the energy needs of low-carbon economy, as well as the clean energy development and use. Among them, the wind energy is one kind of renewable clean energy, more and more attention from around the world and has been widely used and developed, so wind power generation has been rapid development. With the rapid growth in the number and installed capacity of wind farms, the wind farm has brought more and more remarkable influence to the grid.The grid requests the incorporation wind farm can maintain the stability of the voltage under perturbation wind and, and has the ability of low voltage ride through in the fault time.This article built the models of wind power generation system by Matlab/simulink, through comparative analysis of the simulation, the MCR reactive compensation device can inhibit the bus voltage fluctuation due to wind disturbance, improve the bus voltage stability of wind farm. Face to the disadvantages of traditional reactive power control mode, this article proposed a composite control scheme; through the simulation analysis verified that the composite control scheme can increase the voltage and power factor of grid-connected wind farm, also can take full advantage of the improving wind farm reactive power.Through the traditional magnetic controlled reactor prototype experiment, the speed of traditional MCR response can not meet the requirements low voltage ride through, and the measures of increase MCR response speed are proposed.Through prototype experiment, the measure improve the response speed of magnetic controlled reactor out of running.Meanwhile through under the three-phase breakdown simulation analysis, has confirmed when the breakdown the MCR+FC reactive power compensation device can maintain the wind power generation unit not to be separated from the electrical network, and pours into the massive reactive power support voltage, has satisfied the request of low voltage ride through.
