With the rapid development of high-speed rail project between the city and the urban subway network, new built tunnels crossing the existing elevated lines of high-speed rail are on the increase. Crossing project will lead to deformation of stratum, viaduct structure, track structure and railway ancillary facilities, which would bring great risk to railway operation.Based on one of shield tunnels for Beijing Metro Line crossing the elevated line of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail, this paper, relying on numerical simulation and analysis of monitoring data, has made an overall analytical study on deformation caused by shield tunnel and the risk control. The main work and results are as follows:1. Based on theoretical knowledge, this paper has analyzed the mechanism of deformation of stratum and elevated lines.2. Adopted3D-FEM to carry on numerical simulation about the shield tunnel approaching project of elevated lines of high-speed rail. This paper predicted the influence regulation about the existing structures during the shield tunnel construction on different conditions and analyzed the control method of effect.3. Based on monitoring data of this engineering, this paper also studied the deformation of stratum and bridge structure through the whole process of the crossing, and then made a comparison of numerical test results and monitoring data.4. Combined with the numerical prediction and analysis of monitoring data, as while as the management process of the case, a preliminary study of management processes of shield tunnel crossing the high-speed rail has been presented, which can provide management experience in similar projects afterward.
