Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM for short) have many advantages, such as simple structure, low cost, wide range of speed regulation, so that develop very fast at the electric transmission fields. Along with the consumption of non-renewable energy, the electric car will surely become the tendency of automobile industry. Position sensor is an important component of SRM, so that this thesis is mainly talk about high precision position sensor used in electric wheel system based on exterior rotor system. It has very good application value and economic value.First, this thesis analyzes the position sensor development history, the basic principle and the importance to SRM, make clear the focus of this topic. Then, research on the encoded method of grating code salver and classify the grating code salver, ensure the shape, dimension and precision of code salver used in electric wheel system. By comparing the parameters of many kinds of photoelectric detection components, ensure the kind of shine component is QEC121made by FAIRCHILD, the kind of accept component is SST533R-04phototransistor made by KODENSHI. Use temperature compensation to process the shine circuit, and use the hysteresis comparator built by the amplifier used in accept circuit to process the signal. Followed, this thesis is talk about the installation, tolerance matching of grating code salver according to the electric wheel system. And use SolidWorks to draw the parts, do the movement simulation and give the CAD fabrication drawings. Last, according to the characteristics and operation principle of SRM, adopt M/T speed and position method, preparation of the corresponding testing procedures, do the testing experiment and analysis the error.
