The Study For Utilization Of Modern High-rise Public Buildings’ Underground Space

The Industrial Revolution brought the development of productive forces of human society, while brought the wave of urbanization, the rapid development of urbanization increasingly acute the contradictions between traditional urban space and a variety of functional requirements of the modern city, and generate the problem of urban traffic congestion, deterioration of ecological environment, and many other cities. By the19th century, the scale of high-rise buildings rise largely, the development of urban space from the plane to a three-dimensional, reasonable development of urban underground space had an effective response to a range of urban problems in the development of urbanization, which meet the shortcoming of lack of land resources in urban development, expand the capacity of cities, improve urban traffic and environmental conditions, provides a broad prospect for the future of urban construction. The19th century was the century of the bridge, the20th century is the century of high-rise buildings, and the21st century will be the century of underground space, more and more attention on the utilization of underground space.The high-rise public buildings is an important type of building in urban development. With the emphasis on the use of urban underground space gradually increased, underground space of High-rise public buildings is constantly evolving, type of construction is constantly updated. The underground space of High-rise public buildings which located below the surface, is a subsidiary part of the main building, its development is closely related to the ground space of high-rise public buildings, simultaneously underground space of high-rise public buildings is connected to each other and form a system with urban underground space, become a hub of urban space, and assume some of the functions of the city as much as possible. The combination and utilization of high-rise public buildings’underground space and the urban underground space is an important part of modern urban design.The paper firstly discusses the process of underground space of high-rise public building and urban development. Summarizes the classification and characteristics of underground space of high-rise public buildings, revealing the motivation of underground space development of high-rise public buildings. Analysis of the urban characteristics embodied by underground space of the high-rise public buildings analysis, its functional use by examples. Finally, found the problems in utilization of underground space of high-rise public buildings, on this basis, proposed the corresponding utilization strategies, such as:the holistic design of underground space of high-rise public buildings, integration of functions、hierarchical development of underground space and optimization of the construction of underground space environment. I hope the construction in this paper can help the design ideas to underground space of high-rise public buildings.
