| The acceleration of the urbanization process and economic development has brought a series of environmental problems and crises. Impervious area in urban is gradually increased, which lead to the destruction of the natural hydrological processes and the retard of the water cycle. Urban stormwater problems has a serious impact on the sustainable development of cities.This paper analyzes the current situation of water crisis and stormwater management at home and abroad, focusing on the historical development; design concepts and core technical measures of BMPs. BMPs is a mature system of stormwater management system in the United States and has a wide range of applications in other countries.For urban stonnwater management practices, BMPs is an important significance and worth our study and learn. BMPs also have a close relationship with the urban green space, which can be incorporated into the urban green space in China, to achieve the harmonious development between human and stonnwater. On the basis of introduction of BMPs, author also refining and summarizes the principles, procedures and methods of the application in urban green space in China, providing a new way for the improvement of the urban ecological environment in China. It has guiding significance and reference value. |
