Whether equipment can be operated in field safely and reliably or not relates tonot only the economic interests of the users, also it is the ultimate reflection of itsquality. Its reliability reveals the whole processes on design, manufacture, transportand application. Thus, improving the filed reliability will be the key way to enhancethe overall performance of equipment. This paper will put forward some preliminaryresearch to improve the reliability.At present, most of the studies on improving filed reliability are mainly focusedon partial equipment melioration, being short of improvement on the comprehensiveand systematic method to strengthen the filed reliability. Based on the advancedanalysis skills of reliability, it summarized a set of analysis methods and the technicalways to improving the field reliability. Then, according to the data on the field use ofcertain domestic slag pot carrier and one imported, an analysis has been done as thefollowing processes:1) Select the suitable evaluation indexes to analyze the reliability quantitatively,according to the nature of the equipment and the integrity of the data.2) Find the weak link of respective field reliabilities with FMECA.3) Use the Non-parametric estimation way to confirm the failure patterns of the slagpot carrier and its subsystem.4) Analyze how climate influences on the field reliability of slag pot carrier and offerthe best option.5) Provide suggestions for manufacturer and users to improve the field reliability,according to the analysis result above.Through the analysis of slag pot carrier experiment, the technology feasibility toimprove the field reliability has been verified. |
