The slope reinforcement is one of the major projects during the dams and dikesreinforcements, the appropriate type of slope protection, not only ensure theengineering safety. But also save the cost of harness, Due to its advantages, such asthe structural stability and good durability, concrete slope protection has been widelyused in the reinforcements engineering. However the concrete slope protection hasdisadvantages like easy to crack, higher cost and so on. In recent years, in thepractice of reinforcement engineering in same place, the Integral Casting-cuttingConcrete Slab (ICCS) slope protection is using, which not only has a good protectioneffect, but also is cost effective. While, the questions, such as how to determine thethickness of slope protection and whether there will be temperature cracks, hinder theapplication of the new technology.In this thesis, considering the Hunan climatic conditions, the thickness range ofconcrete slope protection and its temperature stress are mainly studied. Main researchcontents and the results are as follows:(1) With the background of two progresses has been built in the dam and dikesreinforcement of Hunan Province, introduced the construction process, constructionprinciples and construction notes of the ICCS slope protection, and compared thetraditional concrete slope protection with the ICCS slope protection.(2) Combine with the dam design specifications, consider the impact of thecalculated parameters on the slope thickness calculations, verified that the 10cmthickness in the construction process proposed of the ICCS slope protection isreasonable.(3) Based on the concrete thermal conductivity theory, the temperature field andthermal stress field of cutting or not, different cutting depth and cutting types of theconcrete slope protection is analyzed with ANSYS numerical simulation. Obtainedthat the concrete slab slope protection must be cutting; The greater the thermal stressof concrete slope protection with the more deep of the seam; The concrete slopeprotection cut as six box-shaped can satisfy the temperature stress requirements.(4) Through this study in the thesis and many completed engineering practice,some suggestions for adopting the ICCS slope protection are as following in thereinforcement project.①The thickness of the slope protection is 10cm;②thecutting depth is 5cm;③concrete slope protection can be cut as six box-shaped;④the best cutting time is 6 to 8 days later after the whole casting concrete.
