With the rapid development of the economy and improvement in people’s living condition, citizens tend to have increasingly more complex demand on public transportation, thus the bus network has become obsolete and incapable, facing an entire redesign and optimization. The thesis is based on the evaluations of the bus network optimization, and plays an important role in the improvement of bus network optimization.The research of the thesis mainly focuses on the simulation and evaluation of domestic and overseas bus network optimization. Firstly, on the premise of full analysis on the data, nature and features of bus network, a simulation framework of bus network has been built based on system simulation and multi-agent negotiation, and it constructs vehicle model and bus network model based on stations and roads. the thesis has implemented the simulation of bus network on.NET platform, which supports the network optimization. Secondly, based on review of previous research in the bus network evaluation, contradictions are found lying in the evaluation of various indicators based on public data. Combing the Multi-Agent Negotiation Theory, the thesis seeks the meeting points between them. Afterwards an innovative evaluation method of bus network based on multi-agent negotiation mechanism is raised. And models involved in the methods, affection degree and the concept of joint payoff function have been stated in detail, detailed analysis of the negotiation evaluation methods has been made.Finally, the thesis based on the data made the realization of the simulation and the evaluation of the bus network, selected the network coverage, line repeat coefficient, line static repeat degree, the passengers total time and index function, through the analysis of simulation results of different lines scheme in the optimization process, through the understanding of the network performance requirements in the actual project that "network coverage is big, line nets repeat co efficiency is low", and verifying the application value of the bus network simulation and the evaluation method based on consultation mechanism.
