Desert Plants In The Northwest Area In The City Landscape Application Research

Through the review of the literature investigation, the research methods of comparative analysis and field design practices, this article summarized the application methods of desert plants in landscape .With the help of references, this article summarized and analyzed the definition of desert plants , as well as the knowledge of desert plants species, classified types, characteristics. Based on the understanding of the concept of desert plants, types, characteristics through the summary of Xinjiang geographical situation, climate characteristics, the ecological environment, the water resources situation, greening situation, the social and economic situation of the present situation of the desert plants, this article did a research on the application situation of the desert plants in Xinjiang uygur autonomous region, which including three representative locations for the application of desert plants in Xinjiang region, which are Turpan, Tarim area, as well as the Urumqi area. Also, This article conducted investigation and analysis of the application of desert plants for China’s developed city, such as Beijing, Tianjin area, Dunhuang. Through the comparative analysis of the use of desert plants in these areas, comparing the methods of application of the desert plants in Xinjiang with China’s developed desert plant, this article summarized the shortcomings of the application of the desert plants in Xinjiang region and the way of development. At the meanwhile, this paper proposed the assumption and outlook of the use of the desert plants in landscape of the northwest of our country, including desert plants plant configuration, desert plants landscape of applications, the application from two aspects of plane and solid desert landscaping, through the above assumptions and summarization, by the example of Xinjiang uygur Urumqi City Park to design of the configuration of the desert plants and put the application of the desert plants in landscape into practice.In the research of the desert plants related theory and design on the basis of practice, it really helps me to know much about the desert plants. this paper concluded the configuration of the desert plants with trees, shrubs, and so on the different kinds of plants as well as the combination of application of rock, water and garden architecture gardening factors. And conducted the configuration method of the application of the desert plants in landscape in the northwest area and provide the theoretical basis for the use of the desert plants in urban green space . Desert plants have release oxygen, vacuuming, sterilization and purify the air, prevent soil erosion and improving soil, reduce dust effects, and to protect the environment and save water has a good effect. Another desert plants also have edible, economy, the medical value,In the end, through the wide prospect of the application of the desert plants in northwest regions, called for the joint efforts to work more on from the understanding of the desert plants to the development of the research and application of the desert plants. Laying a solid foundation for the use of the desert plants in the city landscape architecture, taking the advantage of the every aspects on their use of the ecology, landscape and economy to make our city more ecological, various and beautiful.
