The supervision object of equipment manufacturing project is the engineering project equipment with substantial investment. So the supervision of equipment manufacturing project has a high degree of professionalism and practicalism.The amount of cost of the Guandi hydropower station’s equipment manufacturing is Y 194,654,357.00. The supervision project of Guandi hydropower station’s metal structure equipments manufacturing is divided into three items. Firstly, Guandi hydropower station’s sluice gate manufacturing is divided into two bids:one is the purchasing of system (total weight is about 3649t), while the other is the purchasing of the sluice gate of the large dam (total weight is about 4370.5t). Secondly, Guandi hydropower station’s hydraulic gate hoist manufacturing is divided into two bids:one is the purchasing of hydraulic gate hoist for the overflow surface hole (5 sets), while the other is for middle hole and portal start-stop system of water inlet (6 sets). Thirdly, the total amount of Guandi hydropower station’s winch hoist (includes the gantry crane) is eleven sets while two sets of them are gantry cranes, six sets are fixed hoists, one set is trolley hoist, and two sets are maintenance hoist. This equipment manufacturing projects is undertaken by five manufactories that are located in four provinces of China. The manufacturing quantity is very huge and the equipments’ models.and sorts are complete.There is a clear supervision control objective which is stated in the thesis of the Guandi hydropower station’s metal structure equipments manufacturing. It is analyzed that the missions and risks of the Guandi hydropower station’s metal structure equipment manufacturing supervision project will face firstly in this thesis. Finally, the target control response from the quality, schedule and cost control of Guandi hydropower station’s metal structure equipment manufacturing supervision is described in the thesis.Guaranteeing the success of the project is the general goal of the facilities engineering project overseeing. Based on the importance of risk control of the metal structures and equipment manufacturing projects of hydropower station, we believe that the quality of delivery of the equipment is the most important task in the supervision and the delivery on schedule during the progress of supervision is most difficult.3 The intent of equipment manufacturing supervision is to provide professional services in technology, management, experience, high intelligence and other aspects. The recognition of supervision measures and the application of the methods to exclude bias and prevention are the basis of achievement of objectives. It is the central task of the commissioner of equipment manufacturing to supply effective control of project and successfully achieve the objective.Therefore, through the application of case studies and supervision theories it is clarified in the third part that the control of objectives of the equipment supervision should standardize the basis of supervision, carry out the supervision work under the rule of "procedures, the standardization". Furthermore, it should select appropriate risk measures according to the analysis of risk factors and combine the active control with the passive control closely in order to control the target dynamically in the purpose of ensuring to achieve the objective of equipment supervision.
