| With the rapid development of the national economy and society, building’s roofsbecome rich and colorful, there are various big area roof exhibition hall and modernindustrial workshop being constructed in each place, these constructions are grandioseand artistic practical generally, but has also brought the problems in design of big arearoof rainwater drainage system along with it. Gravitational rainwater drainage system islimited by its hydraulic characteristic, already could not meet the demands of theseprojects. Therefore, in recent years we began to use siphonic roof rainwater drainagesystem has been developed in Europe. Domestic siphonic roof rainwater drainagesystem is not yet mature, so that the use of cost is more expensive. This paper identifiedthe scope of application of the system initially by comparison on gravitational rainwaterdrainage system and siphonic rainwater drainage system in technical and economicalaspects.As a new-style rainwater drainage system, siphonic roof rainwater drainage systemhas some disputable issues such as hydraulic operating mode, recurrence period ofdesign and suitable calculation formulae, so this paper will discuss the issues. One ofthe keys of siphonic rainwater drainage system is hydraulics calculation’s accuracy,hydraulics calculation’s accuracy is taking full advantage of hydraulic head that systemoffers, minishing pipe’s diameter, reducing costs and ensuring system working safely,reliably and normally.This paper exposits the work principle and hydraulics calculation method ofsiphonic roof rainwater drainage system, and use the C++language to establish thecalculator procedure, which makes hydraulics calculation of siphonic rainwaterdrainage system realize automation, improves hydraulics calculation’s accuracy and thestaff’s efficiency, makes the system work more stablely and safely.The software developed in this paper applies not only to large stadiums, industrialworkshops, shopping malls and other large buildings, also applies to small andmedium-sized roof of the buildings. The software’s main function is to design siphonicroof rainwater drainage system, including the choice of diameter of each pipe and thechecking of maximum negative pressure and the internal velocity. Finally, a stadium project instance of the software tested, test results show that thissoftware works on a certain practicality. |
