The accelerometers are sensing elements for acceleration, and it can convert thevector acceleration into the physical quantities which can be measured. And becausequartz accelerometers have many advantages, such as sensitive precision and long life,they are widely used in kinds of areas, for example aerospace, missile guidance,navigation and so on. The quartz plate sensitive component of quartz accelerometer isvery sensitive to temperature, which has seriously affected the navigation accuracy,and even becomes a “blind” navigation system.By analyzing advantages and disadvantages between the temperaturecompensation and temperature control in this paper, the method of temperature controlwas more suitable for the system after learning basic principle and temperaturecharacteristics of an accelerometer based on considering the application background.The theory of PID control and Fuzzy-PID control were studied based on learningcommon methods of temperature control, and the program of Fuzzy-PID Control hadperformed on DSP. This paper mainly completed the following work:The design of overall system was completed, which mainly designed softwaresystem of DSP of temperature control and its hardware systems. The circuit design ofthe hardware system, the thermistor, DSP and FPGA chip were chosen and then dataacquisition circuit of temperature was designed and the appropriate peripheral circuitsof DSP and FPGA were given, at last communication between the FPGA and DSP waschosen. In the software system, the algorithm of Adaptive Fuzzy PID control was moreadvantages the PID control on temperature control through simulating in the Simulinkof MATLAB after learning and analyzing the algorithm of its theory. And then theprogram of DSP was completed through debugging and testing with JTAG simulationinterface of DSP. At last, it programmed into the FLASH chip of DSP.To verify the reasonableness of design, the temperature control system wasrepeated testing at different temperatures. And the data of three-axis accelerometer andtemperature were collected through the RS232serial communication. Through adetailed analysis of the data, the accuracy of the temperature control in the system wasvery good to meet requirements of practical application.
