The isolationdevice installed in the structure of its inherent characteristics can not be changed, not thevarious characteristics of the seismic excitation has good control effect.In recent years, the study of structural vibration control has made great progress.Magnetorheological damper is an excellent semi-active control devices, its biggest feature isthe initiative to adjust its parameters according to the vibration response of the structure, sothat the damping effect of the damper to achieve the best.Magnetorheological damper and general isolation device used in combination is one ofthe direction of developments in the field in recent years, isolation. In this paper, the isolationlayer set of smart base isolated building of the magnetorheological damper semi-activecontrol study, mainly to complete several jobs:(1) Reviewed the progress and status of the MR damper and magnetorheological dampersemi-active control study conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the prospects.(2) Working models and mechanical model of magnetorheological damper a detailedstudy, compare the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of mechanical models ofmagnetorheological damper with Bingham model, and according to their characteristics as acomputational model.(3) Magnetorheological smart base isolation structural vibration control theory, controlalgorithms and control strategies.(4) Preparation of MATLAB Simulink program set magnetorheological damper base isolation building simulation, to verify the validity of a set of magnetorheological damperunder seismic action the damping of smart base isolated building.(5) Magnetorheological smart base isolated building design methods and MR dampersemi-automatic control system of the computer control system is described in detail.
