The environment is the basic premise for human survival and development.Environment for our survival and development provide the necessary resources andconditions. As social and economic development, environmental issues have beenmentioned as an important issue that can not be avoided on the Governments agenda.Protect the environment, reduce pollution, curb the trend of ecological deteriorationhas become an important task of the government’s social management.For our country, protecting the environment is a basic national policy of China,and solve the country and prominent environmental issues, promote the coordinationof economic, social and environmental development and implementation of thestrategy of sustainable development is crucial and daunting task faced by the societyas a whole. Therefore, for the re-use of industrial waste is an urgent, but closelyrelated to the social life. In a variety of industrial wastes, of which a considerable partcan be used in concrete, such as fly ash, granulated blast furnace slag and so on.China is a country with a coal thermal power plant is still the main power supply, thissituation is estimated that for a long period of time will not change, accompanied by alarge number of fly ash in construction projects, large-scale use of powder ash notonly solve the thermal power plant waste, and can create a good economic and socialbenefits, its great significance. In concrete mixed with fly ash, slag powder, industrialwaste, can also significantly reduce the amount of cement in concrete; significantlyimprove the concrete mixture workability; reduce heat of hydration of mass concretetemperature rise; greatly improve the chemical stability of hardened concrete andother durability index, a significant increase in the scope of application of concrete.Therefore, the industrial waste residue is applied to the concrete prospects for a verywide range of practical value is very high.However, the chemical activity of fly ash is relatively low, and have someimpact when the dosage is large will the strength of concrete. The good news is thatChina’s annual steel production to reach over500million t, accompanied by a verylarge number of granulated blast furnace slag to produce. Experimental studies haveshown that adding a small amount of slag powder can make up for the fly ash chemical activity, increase the chemical interaction between the particles in thesystem, coordination and induced excitation of high volume fly ash concrete, theconcrete the technical nature have a significant beneficial effect: the workability ofconcrete mixture and better adaptability to the admixture of the structure of hardenedconcrete is more dense, early strength and late strength have been improvedobviously fine pore structure, harmful pores basically been eliminated, a significantreduction in porosity, the durability of concrete indicators, such as impermeability,freeze-thaw resistance, anti-carbonation resistance and chemical resistance propertieswere significantly improved.In short, the compound mixed with a mixture of two materials in the concrete,not just two simple mixing of the mixed material, but a conscious mixture of twomaterials complement each other, complement each other to produce a single hybridmaterial can not be some good effect.
