With rapid economic growth and expansion of the urban development scale, thephenomena of traffic congestion have become the norm of modern city traffic. Metro trafficwith its large volume, high speed, accounting for a small floor space, convenience, comfortand other features has become the first choice to solve the problem. At the same time, thesubway construction has brought the serious problem of land subsidence and blastingvibration on the urban environment. Therefore, this article relied on National Natural ScienceFoundation (Project Name: Mechanical mechanism and control of ground subsidence damagecaused by underground space excavation, Project Number:50904039) and the researchproject of subway Line3in Qingdao City (Project Name: Research on damage control andevaluation technology of Qingdao subway construction on ground-level structures) ProjectNumber: SDSITC-0108310) to study the land subsidence caused by Qingdao subway tunnelconstruction and its impact on the building. This article had a promoting role to constructunderground space and ground space for coordinated development of urban environment,provided theoretical guidance for the prediction and control land subsidence caused byQingdao subway tunnel construction, also provided referenced data for future scientific andrational development of underground space in Qingdao City. Therefore, the paper studied thefollowing aspects:(1) This article firstly introduced Qingdao subway Line3project, then analyzed domesticand international issues related to the status quo, clarified the meaning and purpose ofQingdao subway tunnel construction caused by land subsidence and its impact on the buildingdamage.(2) Studied from ground subsidence caused by Qingdao subway tunnel construction,analyzed the main reasons to produce land subsidence and factors that affected the damage onbuildings.(3) On the basis of analysis the general regular pattern, the paper systematically studied andsummarized the types, traits and laws of land subsidence caused by subway tunnelconstruction in Qingdao area. The back analysis method was applied to determine theparameter values of surrounding rock, and the finite element model was established to predictland subsidence values before subway excavation, providing reference data for the actualproject.(4) This article analyzed the damage that land subsidence caused to buildings during Qingdao subway construction, and summed its laws. In this paper, buildings along Qingdaosubway were investigated and classified, with fuzzy analysis method to judge the levels ofsecurity of them. Buildings that required attention were identified in the subway constructionprocess.(5) Considered the essence of controlling land subsidence, scientific principles for subwaytunnel construction in Qingdao were worked out, the subway tunnel construction measureswere optimized, and specific prevention measures for the buildings were proposed.
