At present, the liquid cooling system has been widely used in many fields. Heat exchanger is themost important component of the liquid cooling system, it transfers the heat that the liquid take fromthe calorific electronic equipment, then lower the temperature of the electronic equipment.This paper mainly researches the heat exchanger of small liquid cooling system. It introducessome different kinds of heat exchanger, by comparing with these kinds of heat exchangers, get aproper plate-fin exchanger referring to the design standard. Expound some theory on optimization ofheat exchanger design. Program the triangle-straight plate-fin exchanger, analyze and compare theinfluences to the heat exchanging effect by different thickness and spacing and height of the fin, andget the influences to the heat exchanging effect by using different value of the fin between the twosides of the plate-fin. As the process on the boundary between the solid zone and two different fluidzones of the heat exchanger is a coupling exchanging process, so take the numerical simulation of thesolid-fluid coupling heat exchanging, that is building a3D model of the triangle heat exchanger, thendividing the grid, and taking the simulation on part core of the plate-fin heat exchanger. At first thetwo sides are both triangle fin, then both the rectangle, and get a temperature distribution of thedifferent style of the part core of the plate-fin.As last, get an optimization fin value proposal by programming and analyzing the plate-finexchanger, that is using thin and high fin as the hotter side while thick and low fin as the cooler sidethen will get better heat exchanging effect; at the same time using triangle fin will get better effectthan rectangle fin.
