Acupuncture has unique effects with a long history. There are blood vessels, nerves and other tissue structures under the head and neck acupoints. Besides magic clinical treatment, dangerous always happen during highly improper needle accidents, even die. That is why those acupoints are called dangerous head and neck acupoints. Head and neck danger acupuncture double-blind test and the effect of the acupuncture and moxibustion mechanism is one of the research focus have not yet been conquered. It is also a significant problem urgently to be solved in acupuncture scientific development. The location is not accurate, leading to different locations of the same acupoint or the same location of the different acupoints. It is difficult to execute acupuncture randomized double-blind test effectively, and the reliability and scientific of the effect of the acupuncture and moxibustion is affected and questioned. In order to solve the mystery problem, finding the measuring methods and measuring instrument for scientific research to locate acupoints, has become an important scientific and technical problems urgently to be solved in scientific research and development of acupuncture and moxibustion.In this paper, a new method is proposed for the head and neck dangerous acupoints measurement and positioning. This new technique includes precision optical acquisition and projection device. It is a combination of image processing and mathematical geometry and other modern technology, and it is on the basis of national standards. The main work of this project is the following aspects:(1) Combined with precision optics principles and applications, a new system including image acquisition, acupoints measuring, positioning and other functions are proposed; designed an integrated image capture and projection machine.(2) Designed standard circular calibration method for calibration the main optical axis of acquisition equipment and projection equipment.(3) Design a two degree of freedom holder. It is used to load the machine, and to control the image acquisition system to capture the image, and to control the projector positioning system to complete the precise positioning.(4) Proposed an image processing program, focusing on the acupoints measurement algorithm. Image processing algorithms are used to analyze the exact position of the acupoints, and to complete the location.(5) Designed an interface, which is easy to operate. This project provides a feasible and technical method to measure and locate the head and neck dangerous acupoints, using optical instruments and precision measurement technology. This method has important theoretical significance and application value for the acupuncture scientific research. |
