China has a long history, vast territory and very different natural geography thatproduce different humanistic environment and architectural styles in the historicalprocess. Among them, the Tibetan residential architecture is one member of thetraditional residential architectural culture, and the Jiarong residential architecture is ofa great research value. Jiarong, relatively closed in geography, retains its originalarchitectural features in the globalization society which ensure it to present its uniquecharacter today. Research on the Jiarong buildings can not only furtherly investigatethe national historical evolution process but also play a certain reference role tomodern Jiarong residential designing.The research about Jiarong Tibetan has been reported repeatedly at home andabroad. But the Jiarong Tibetan has the characteristics of wide region, and each regionof inhabitancy form also have a difference. It is necessary and beneficial complementfor the research on houses of Jiarong Tibetan in a small range.The subjects of study for this article are ke sha houses at sha’erzong townshipma’erkang county the Partition Ethnic Education in ABa Prefecture. Use thearchitecture, city planning, natural environment, human geography as theoretical basis.First-hand information of sha’erzong residential monomer and villages as a whole formare obtained by fieldsurvey and mapping. Through combining with the previousresearch results, comparing with other Tibetan Dwellings, relevant conclusions for thisarea vernacular style are summarized, which further enrich the study contents ofjiarong Tibetan Dwellings and providing a referral to the modern design update andprotection of the ke sha houses at sha’erzong township. The main contents of study in this paper are as following: In chapter one, definition of research objects and researchscope in this paper are introduced, and also the research methods and objectives areillustrated; chapter two mainly introduce the natural environment and culturalgeography environment of sha’erzong, and its effect to the sha’erzong residents; chapterthree describes the integral space layout and space form of sha’erzong settlement,reasons contribute to the formation of the layout are also analyzed in this chapter; inchapter four, external style, construction characteristics, structure, material, seismicbehavior, and decoration art of sha’erzong settlement are described in detail; chapterfive through comparison with other areas in the local-style dwelling houses of Tibetan,the characteristics of ke sha dwellings at sha’erzong township are highlighted; inchapter six, the facing situation of the dwellings are obtained through analysis of thefront chapters of ke sha dwellings at sha’erzong township, the reasonable protectionand development suggestion are also put forward; the final chapter give a summary ofthe characteristics of the ke sha dwellings at sha’erzong township and settlements,rational suggestions of its protection and development are put forward in this chapter. |
