Studies On The Precise Design Of Medium And Small Dwelling Units For Commercially Residential Buildings In Xi’an

In resent years, along with the rapid development of China’s economy，People’s living standard of living had a significant increasing. However, thequality of housing in China is still in the design phase of a more extensive atpresent, not precise residential design. The main aspect embodied in the lackof the research in specific population’s living behavior and the design ofliving space which could meet People’s living behavior. The research onpeople in Xi’an is lacking in the current study of medium and small unithousing design. This Paper will apply to the medium and small unit buildingin Xi’an as a major study，and explore the design of housing for such groups.The results of research are used to improve the quality of life of people livingin Xi’an.By the actual state of research and analysis for the people living inXi’an，we can understand the living behavior of Xi’an and their demands inthe space of residential. The thesis based on national standards and norms，andthe actual state of research data as the basis for conclusions. The conclusion isthat the design elements of medium and small unit housing design whichsuitable for people of Xi’an and the design principles for the housing design.At last，it is the residences partial transformation design of some cases inXi’an which is for the people living. The design is based on the theoreticalresearch and case studies analysis of the exist problems reflected by thepeople who lives in the medium and small unit housing and uses the precise transformation strategy which could solve these Problems. Through thetransformation design practice，the results of research for the precise design inhousing could be applied in practice and demonstration. I hope this researchcan be used as the reference of the medium and small unit residential buildingdesign which adapt to the people living in Xi’an.
