The Research On The External Space Design Of The Airport Terminal Area

The airport terminal area outside space environment represents the image of theairport.It is not only a window display image of the city, or urban transport activities,an important place. In recent years.China speed up the systematic state-levellarge-scale infrastructure and construction layout, making airport has been activelydeveloped. With the rapid development of aviation technology and the increase in airtraffic, airport terminal area development of the external space environment hasbecome the focus of widespread concern. As the airport and the city fringe, airportterminal area is the external space environment intersection of different modes oftransport, distribution and passenger transfer. It bears the image of the city and the linkto show the different modes of transportation, to ensure smooth passenger travel,transit, transfer and other important functions, to make the city and the airport plays animportant role.This paper discusses the airport terminal area and the nature of the external spaceenvironment.I proposed the construction of its necessity and unique. Then I analyzethe airport terminal area functions that form the outer space environment, streamlineorganizations, four spatial form and spatial aspects of the landscape. Then on the frontof the analysis and previous airport terminal area of the external space environmentdesign theory have been studied and summarized the results, but also put forward itsown airport terminal area on the outer space environment, planning and design aspectsof the design principles and specific methods. Finally, I analyze Beijing CapitalInternational Airport Terminal3, an illustrative example. The airport terminal area outside the space of the design space environment isvery broad.
