Urban drainage is an Indispensable and important infrastructure for modern city,and it is the key project of city water pollution control, controlling city drainingwater-logged and flood prevension. The drainage facilities include the networks,pumping stations and ditches for admitting and conveying urban drainage, theponds, lakes and rivers which have the regulation effect, as well as the sewagetreatment plant, sludge disposal and related facilities.The planning, design, implementation and management of urban drainagesystem are the important decision problems,facing the city under the situation of therapid expansion.They are not only related to the huge capital investment, but alsorelated to the funds investment benefit, furthermore they are related to the city waterecological environment protection and sustainable development of the city.As a resource-based industrial city, the environmental pollution index andmanagement difficulty of Zaozhuang is high. At present untreated living waste waterand industrial waste water is issued directly into rivers, lakes and reservoirs in manyplaces, which have caused serious pollution of ground water environment.According to made by department investigation sectional, the average sewagedischarge is about600000cubic meters per day. Shizhong district is the originlocation occupied by the government departments, whose population and industryare dense, and whose sewage discharge is accounted for1/3of the city and is thebiggest threat to Zao Zhuang transit and crossing river pollution.Because of its environmental pollution aggravated, ecological quality low, environmental issues more serious.In order to improve the city’s ecologicalenvironment, it is very necessary to study on its drainage system and explore adrainage system conforming to the actual conditions of Zaozhuang.The paper aims to solve the drainage problems of Shizhong District of ZaoZhuang by studying its geographical and climatic characteristics and its urbandrainage status, in terms of drainage planning and design theory. At the same time,the paper researches and discusses the urban water resources utilization andmanagement of drainage system mechanism.The paper mainly includes the following seven parts: The first part is thefoundation, which discusses the experience and construction principles of domesticand international urban drainage system. The second to the fifth parts are the core ofthe paper, which research drainage status of Shizhong District, selection principle ofwater drainage system, principle of drainage facilities construction, and so on. At thesame time the paper focuses on the study of sustainable resources and reuse. Finallythe article expounds the problems on urban drainage system planning, design,construction, and management, proposes solutions to problems, provides theprotection of the city drainage system safety, stable operation.
