The concrete mixer is a special purpose commercial vehicle designed fortransporting concret, which is a necessary transportation facility in modern constructiontrade. Most special vehicle manufactures produce such trucks. To remain invincible inthe intense competition market, it is necessity for the enterprise to own a designedsystem to realize the truck type universalization and seriation independently and rapidly,to make the enterprise meet various market requirements. Helical blade is the core ofmixer tank shell. Its quality of design and manufacturing is in direct relation with theperformance of stirring and discharging.The cone equal variable angle, non-equal variable angle helix equation, cone equalvariable angle, non-equal variable angle helix were constructed. The change regularityof these helical lines was discussed individually. The non-equal variable angle cone andthe circular helix can be expressed in one equation.The non-equal variable angle helix,log spiral, non-equal variable angle helix and approximate equal angle helix could beobtained from the equation through different relevant parameter. It is more convenientand flexible in the design. Use parameterization design of three demensional software tomold tank line, fit every section helix, get fair helical blade. The fluent software wasused to analyze the inner flow field of the tank. The simulation results were analyzed toimprove the mixing capacity of the tank centre tube. The top down design method wasadopted to complete the three dimensional parameterization modeling of the mixerupper unit.The study finished in the paper can supply effective supports to the design ofconcrete mixer and helical blades,which highly improves the design efficiency. Andsome production has been applided in the corporation.
