Space, as the soul of a building, not only determines the shape of the building, butalso fundamentally restricts the spatial experience and feelings. From the historicalperspective, the shaping of space is closely bound up with the development level ofconstruction techniques and building materials of the era the space in. They determinethe quality and the shape of the space, and then affect the space and it’s combination. Asthe rapid development of modern society, the development of building scientific andtechnological advancements brings new opportunities to the building interior space,reinforced concrete and other building materials as well as the use of trusses, steel framestructure, making leaps and bounds in the large space can be achieved, and it provides apremise of design in spatial combination. Building materials, ranging from concrete andshell material, then to the use of transparent glass curtain, make the the indoor space ofconstruction match the surrounding environment well. However, we are now facing aserious problem--energy consumption at this critical moment.The accelerating pace of urbanization in China is going forward，giving theenvironment an enormous pressure. When people building their living space, it isconflicting with the nature and never diminishing. It destroys not only the environment,more the indoor air quality and the thermal environment. The irrational spatial structuremakes it light inadequately, makes the gas not circulate in the building and so on. Itneeds more energy to adjust and keep the comfortable feelings.The word of "Space" in this paper, from the architectural experience to spaceenergy saving, sublimates the attitude and method in design of the space. Addingenergy-saving ideas on the basis of comprehending to the original design concept makesthe designers realized that they should keep an attitude and have some responsibilities inthe early stage of design. The point of how different design of space and theircombination may effect the energy consumption in the early stage of design is a newview of space energy-saving design, and we make a constructive suggestion about theform of design. In the later stage of decorations display design, the colors and materials and other elements rendering the space, they affect the comfortable of living in thespace according to objective condition and Psychology. This paper relates to the field ofhow to match the colors and how the people living in the space adjust it as less energyused as they can.I hope this paper can take an impetus to the interior energy-saving design throughthe study.
