With the development of electric power system management technology, the linksof power system such as power generation, transmission and distribution becomemanagement with network. But the user terminals are independenting of this network. Itmakes the system imperfect and affects the developing of its potential directly orindirectly. The system focuses on remote transmission and automatic meter reading. Itrepresents the developing direction of smart meter. Nowadays single chip technologydevelops very fast, the production of electronic energy meters that use the single chipprocessor as the control chip is on a large scale.But the smart meters still need to bedeveloped, witch are chip, running stably, with strong anti-interference ability,supporting centralized remote transmission and automatic meter reading.Based on the analysis of smart grid and the current research situation of smartmeter. This pape puts forward the system design of single-phase Active Multi-tariffwatt-hour meter. This design is characterized by anti-electric energy stolen,high-accuracy, low-power dissipation and so on. In this system, Stellaris LM3S812Microcontroller is used as the control chip. Introduce the design of parameters ofelectricity system acquisition circuit, RS485communication, infrared communication,ZigBee communication and data transmission circuits. It has realized the storage andexchange of power information. The LCD module is designed for the user to get powerinformation clearly and timely.Modular programming is adopted by the system in software design. It elaboratesthe program modules such as main program, data measurement and multi-rate controlmodule, data storage module and communication processing module. In the control ofARM processor, the functions of electrical energy measurement, storing with time-labeland data communication is realized in the smart meter system.In the calculation method,this paper introduces the measurement principle of electrical energy. Analyse the basicparameters of electric power measurement and the calculation method of electricparameters. And the error of synchronous sampling method is researched theoreticallyin this paper.Finally, the interference of hardware and software in this system is analyzed. Andanti-interference measures are put forward correspondingly in this paper.
